Hello world, this week I will tell you a story, some will say it is boring and others will say it is the best because they will feel identified, but the important thing is that it is based on real and very recent events.

This is the story of Thomas an average student of a traditional university. He, one day after finishing all the subjects, was ready to go home. He walked to the bus stop and got on the first one that happened, but after placing one foot inside they noticed something very particular the bus had no driver, was driving alone, and also had no passengers. Frightened Thomas turned to go down but the door slammed shut on his nose. He hit the windows of the door desperate for trying to get out, but immediately the smoke began to fill the bus, it was a thick smoke that prevented breathing, Thomas felt bad and lost consciousness. He did not know anything until he woke up in the square of a city where water was scarce, the streets were dirt and people wore suits that covered their skin. In the distance he heard them talking, but he did not understand their language. Even a little disoriented just wondered, how do I explain where I was all this time to my mother?.

The dog is the best

hello world, i hope you all are having a good time at this time of the year, there is only one  more month to begin 2017, but lamentably that is not this week subject, but i will talk you about my favorite animal, my favorite animal is one of the most wonderful creatures on the world, is not a dinosaur or a dragon instead is the dog, yeah, the dog, maybe is not so interesting like a lion or an elephant, but for me dogs are the best animal, they are loyals and they can always make you smile. You may ask if i have a dog, but guess what, i do, her name is blanca, she is very beautiful and she likes to play a lot, when we play with her i get tired before she does.

since they are the best pets of all, there exist so many breeds all over the world, and they are unique in their own way, there are bigs, smalls, hairy ones, and others with little hair. An interesting fact about dogs is that puppies have 28 temporary teeth ( 6 incisors, 2 canines and  6 premolars) and grown up dogs have 42 teeth ( 6 incisors, 2 canines, 8 premolars and 4 molars in the superior part and 6 in the inferior part), these are a lot of teeths, so be very careful when you mess up with a dog, they have several teeth and they are not afraid to use them.

My summer break

Hello world, this week I will tell you about my next summer break.

This summer I want know the south of chile, for this I will plan travel a week with my girlfriend and scape from Santiago even if it is just a week.

We have everything planned; first we will travel in the night of the Sunday 26 of February and we arrive on Monday in the morning in Pucon. This place has many attractions, For example, you can buy a tour for 30 thousand Chilean pesos and you can visit “salto Huilo huilo”, “Los Ojos del Caburgua” and a set of watherfall, also the geometric springs are very famous atraccion.  In pucon we have thought to be only 2 days for later, we travel to Valdivia for two days more .Here we still have not decided what attractive tourist to visit, but I believe that we travel the rivers and lakes in this place, also the botanic garden my girlfriend say is beautiful.

After Valdivia, we will thought travel to Puerto Montt, here my grandmother lives and we plan to stay to sleep there. In this place we plan to buy a tour for visit frutillar, A friend told me that in a day we can go and visit all attractions.

The truth is that all this will depend on the money we save and for this I want to work at least a month.

My favorite Photography

Hello again my dear Friends, this is another week and a new blog, and this week subjects is…PHOTOS!!!

As everyone says a picture is worth a thousand words (in this case a photo, but is the same idea) I will try to explain why this photo is my favorite.

This photo was took for me and it represents a tiring day for me and my girlfriend, because it was a day full of tests for both and also it was a sizzling day but was worse with all the people in the subway. This photo was taken on October, 25th a Tuesday by the afternoon and I like it because it was spontaneous and resumed our whole day, but mostly because it was very funny because my girlfriend almost fell off the seat while she slept.

IMPROVISATION!!

Hello world, this week`s assignment is to talk about a skill that I admire, so I`m going to talk you about…… IMPROVISATION!!!!

I think that improvisation is a great skill, because it is a great capacity of adaptation in front of unexpected situations and reactions, besides a great capacity of reaction and flexibility is required for this, so no one can easily do this.

Improvisation is very useful in the day by day, because it allows us to get involve with different kind of people and environment and can be used to get out of unexpected sceneries like a surprise interrogation or a simple talk with another person. I`m not good at improvisation, because it`s hard to me the connect ideas and generally the best ideas come to me after the situations when I need them, I believe that is because I can think things more clearly and not with the emotion of the moment.

As I was saying improvisation is very useful, because it can be used in any situation, for example I use it when I’m in a dissertation and someone ask me something that I`m not completely sure and with concepts that I know I can improve an answer or when there are group activities and we have to do dramatizations like role play.

My dream Job

Hello world

This week, I`m going to talk about my dream job. In my childhood I seen the program “A prueba de todo” in discovery. In

this program the protagonist travel around the world, he visit a jungle, mountain and desert and survive in a conditions extremes, many time without food  or water. This experience I like me and it would be my dream job, far away of the office.

This jobs is a difficult classify, because you don’t study this profession in university, you can study journalism, but it`s different, It job is a report in a conditions extreme in which you carry your body to the limit and at the same time you show exotic place.

 

This job is unconventional and this makes it special for me. A job far the routine, without stress and travel around the world, but this job have a problem and is that in order to survive, you have eat worm or snake, but is logical, I don`t expect to eat a sandwich in middle of the jungle, but it`s a price i`m agreeable to pay to know the Everest or the desert of Sahara and besides I receive salary.

My favorite book

Hello world, this week I`m telling you about “Maze Runner”, this is the first book that I read for pleasure and I didn`t read one book, I read a trilogy more the prequel.

The fanaticism began when I saw the second part of the trilogy in the cinema and the storyline I like me so much. The first time that I saw the Maze runner, I was intrigue and I want see the second movie, but I wait one year for the premiere of the “The Maze Runner, The Scorch Trials” this is the name of second movie and when finish the movie, I leave of the cinema and run to bookstore and I bought all books only for know the end of the storyline.

The trilogy has a protagonist very interesting, world apocalyptic and much action beside a final unexpected. It`s a great trilogy and I recommend read in your next vacations.

The third movie will be released in 2018 because the protagonist has an accident while film the movie, so that`s why we must wait.

Cellphones, my favorite tecnology

Hello World

This is my third post of English four and I tell you about Cellphones, it is my favorite technology.

The cellphone appeared 20 years ago, but its massification was not more than 10 years ago. I declare myself a fan of cellphone, because it allow for connect to internet, check social networks, take photos, read documents and more functions all in the palm of my hand.

I use my cellphone all day every day, usually check social networks to know that make school’s friend, also read news and I spend hours watching funny videos. I don´t use camera frequently, because I don’t like photos, but my girlfriend forced me to take pictures.

The cellphone is a great ally in the study, in the university is necessary read text every weeks and the phone allow for carry a lots text in the pocket, I read this text when travel in subway generally.

I have very bad luck, I dropped the last phone and the screen died, and only had one month of use. Now I have a new cellphone and really I love this phone, the battery lasts for two days.

Viña del Mar, My favorite holiday.

Hello world!

This week, I tell you about my favorite holiday.

I’ve been on a few holiday, for this is easy to say which is my favorite. A few years ago, I went to viña del mar with my girlfriend and we were a week on tour for the V region of Chile. We met the flower clock, the amphitheater fifth Vergara and almost all coastline.

We arrived on a Monday and the first thing we did was meet the sea, we were all day and sunstroke us. The other days we know the fifth Vergara park and amphitheater, but we kept with sunburn. We travelled by subway until arriving at Valparaiso and we walked through the port of Valparaiso and saw many seals and sea lions. With my girlfriend took many pictures, so that the phones ran out storage space nor battery, but we have many memories captured in images.

These were some of my best holidays, where I was more independent and decided the places to visit and it was the first outing with my girlfriend.

Peru, My next tourist destination

Hello world!!

Welcome again to my blog. Today tell about of Peru, Machu Pichu in specific, it`s a place that I would like to know in a few years. I like Machu Pichu, because is a few place that has manteined its culture and its connection with the nature.

I know little about Peru or Machu Pichu, I know that Peru is a neighboring country of Chile and that its capital is Lima, but the Internet is a big help in this case, with one click we know all about a theme.

If someday I go, I like go all over the Amazonas, I meet natives of jungle and travel in canoe on the river and the most important is go to ruin of Machu Pichu and climb the hill mount in alpaca.

Peru is a good place for tourism, but I don`t live in this country, because I love Chile, it’s great country in which exist great potential of to get a good job and good lifestyle.

my lasts words

Hello fellas, as you might know this is the last time we see each other and talk about our experiences. Anyway this week is time to talk about how made us feel, really how it made me feel, the writing this blogs. Well, here i go….

At first i was like, writing a blog? Where is the difficult part?, but while i was trying to think what to write on the first blog i realized that it´s really hard thinking on an idea and from that idea develop a whole text, and no a short one, no, no at all, the asigment was to create a text with at least one hundred and fifty words, you may say, it´s not so dificcult he´s making a big trouble of something so easy as writing. But the problem wasn´t writing, the problem was the lack of feedback, because when you have someone that says to you “this is you weakness” or “Great job, but this is what you did wrong” is easy, because if fail you can know what missed.

But thanks to the blogs i´ve learned new words and i feel that my writing skills have been developed a lot.

At this last blog i realized that i haven´t written about my favourite songs, so that´s what i would like to include it as a topic, but a special one. And i would like to write about tv series or movies, maybe jokes.

Now it´s time to say goodbye, no,please don´t cry, it´s not a goodbye, it´s a see ya later, and how i just said see ya in other occasion.

my favorite subjects

Hello fellas, it´s another week and it´s time to (drum roll)… read about my favorite subjects.

I like anatomy because it´s one of the easiest subjects for me, it requires a lot of compromise and dedication of the student, also this subject is very useful, by this point you might be asking, Is he crazy? Why does he think that anatomy is easy?, well let me tell you, first of all, yes i´m crazy and second i think is easy because is just memorize and connect terms to understand how are related the diverse sistems and how they work coordinately allowing us to live day by day. My favorite way to study is looking images on the most famous atlas of human anatomy of the World, the Frank H. Netter 5 edition, and draw them on a notebook.

I also like chemistry, because i have always seen chemistry as mixing two or more different substances to create something new and unknown, just like the vibranium. I like chemistry but only the proceedings, not the calculus part because maths are so hard and it´s difficult to me.

And this are my favorite subjects of College right now, well now i have to say goodbye but you´ll now more the next week. Before i go i like to thank the student protest for this little vacations. That´s all, see ya.

The concret jungle

My dreamed place in the World is New York, you will say: ¿Why new york? ¿why is so especial?, well let me tell you why is so especial for me, because is the place where everyone can make their dreams come true, i know, it sounds like the perfect cliché, but is true, New York is a new beginning, there you are someone who wants to reach the top of the World.

 

Also New York is full of touristic attractions like the Empire State, The Liberty Statue, Central Park and so many others that is like having a whole World in just one place, but my biggest obsession with New York is Broadway. I can´t sing, and i can´t dance, but i´ve always been in love with musicals like Wicked, Funny Girl or Yentl, whenever i hear a musical i can feel a connection with the play.

 

There´s also so many kind of food, from Italian to Japanese, from Chilean to Mexican, from African to European, but especially the cronuts, is like the baby between a donut and a croissant.

Hi, this week i´m going to talk about, drum roll please… William Morton.

You might be thinking, Who is William Morton?, well William Thomas Green Morton was born on August 9, 1919 on Charlton, Massachusetts. In 1840 income to Baltimore College of dental surgery and then moved on 1842 to Hartford, Connecticut where he continued his studies under the menthorship of Horace Wells, later they will be partners.

After a serie of experiments with diethyl ether and the anaesthetic effect, he had the chance to try diethyl ether in a human at September 30, 1846, when the cellist Eben Frost agreed to use diethyl ether to extract a purulent molar.

After this, he received an invitation from the profesor John Collins Warren to the general hospital of Massachusetts with the petition of execute a demostration. Gilbert Abbott was a patient with tuberculosis and with the ether the doctor Warren was able to extract a superficial tumor under the lower jaw on the left side of the patient neck. This event is considered the birth of the modern anesthesiology.

In conclusion you have to thank William Morton because he made odontology less painful.

10 things before i run out of time

No one think about the day of his death, well, no until we are older. I think one of the most popular fears is no realize our dreams, because we run out of time thinking about what the others have to say about us. Today we are living in a society in wich we wake up day to day with the only purpose to fulfill our duties, but we forget that life goes beyond work or make money, putting our dreams and ambitions aside. Here are some dreams that i wish come true.

A picture... a memory

 hello, today i´ll show you my favorite picture, it was taken by my girlfriend a month ago, on april 3.

This is my favorite picture because that is the day when we ran the entel´s 10k run, that day was very special because i thought i wasn´t going to last, but, ¡surprise! I reached the finish line, also my girlfriend, and we both got the finisher´s medall!, in fact i still have it.

All the photos i appear i´m with my girlfriend, because she likes to take pictures and forces me to take pictures with her, because i don´t like photographs.

This picture remembers me the weeks when my movements where litmited because my muscles hurt so much that i could barely move, i even had troubles writing in clases.

The best part of the day was to get home and rest and feel fulfilled, because i completed my goal of finishing the run.

Hi, this week I tell about of my Smartwatch.

This Object is my most precious acquisition, because I worked much time for buy this. This watch is a similar a watch of spy, because take photo, have tv controls, sound record and also indicate the time.

In the Market exist many smartwatch, but I chose this Smartwatch because is a cellphone in my wrist, is light, take photos of high quality and when I practice sport it register my heart rate, my speed for lap and calories burned.

I always use my Smartwatch, but it have a problem, the battery discharge every three days and forgot change so that I can not use it.

The Smartwatch arrive for simplify my life, but I can live without it.

Hi,

Everybody knows that I study dentistry, but You don´t know that I studied Telecomunications in the High School, and for that I am Technical in telecomunications. The change is because I don´t like the work that does the technical, They are all day long in front of the laptops or untangle wire, but I learned a lot in telecomunications, now I repair my laptop or my conection to internet.

Dentistry comes into my life when I became an orthodontic treatment, and the dentist was irresponsible and he disappeared and didn´t finish my treatment. That day i decided, to be someday the best dentist and do not repeat the same mistake.

When I graduate, i want teach dentistry in a university or in an institute because the teaching is dynamic and the work hours is more flexible than in other profession.

Hi! My name is Pablo Donoso and thanks for read my blog, now you will know more of my. I was born in santiago of Chile, specifically in Puente alto, study dentistry in the university of Chile and shortly I celebrate my 21 happy birthday in May.

I live with my parents, brother, who study in high school, and my puppy. I began study in 2015 and the first year was very, very difficult, but is get over, now think in the new challenge of this year.

The last year began practice running, because is a form of destress and I recommended because is effective and is important have a healthy life in the university.
